One of the things I've found in the new Nokia 3650 is the ability to record movies in the 3GPP format. And now that Apple's Quicktime support this format, what can stop people of creating indie movies?
The new Nokia Video Recorder update is a 186kbytes file. Download to a computer and transfer to the Nokia 3650 using the Nokia PC Suite over serial connection (cable or Bluetooth). Then just start using it to record movies!
You can e-mail the movies straight from the phone or send it via MMS. It's also possible to copy the file to a computer, using the Nokia PC Suite software. In this case a serial connection (cable or Bluetooth) is needed.
To play these movies on a desktop, just download the new Apple Quicktime with support for 3GPP (available for Mac OS and Windows). Or for playing the movies in other mobile phones Oplayo is a good software. It runs on any Symbian Series 60 system.
