Show us your work desk/enviroment :)
(Yup, its quiet here and Im a bit bored)

Ill start the ball rolling...........

This was on a good day...I now have another box sitting on my desk running Win2k3 Server with XAMPP for testing PHP stuff.
Misc photos of our small server setup in that album as well........

Mine is awful these days... heres my classroom desk, I am marking assessments at the moment, hence the pile of papers. And yes, thats a CRT, but at least its flat!!

I have Vista Business running as a workgroup PC with nothing important or confidential on it, and I use Remote Web Workplace to connect to my XP Domain PC in my office.

I miss having a nice well setup desk at Gen-i with multiple LCD displays and stuff. LOL

I have just moved into a different office here at work too, so my office is also a dogs breakfast at the moment.

I expect I should have the worst setup here at the moment!!!

Home is a different story - a white Macbook sitting on the coffee table, looking very modern and tidy.

Are those Cambridge Soundworks speakers on your desk? If they are, I thought I was the only person in the country with these very old speakers

hahaha i got you all beat in a messy desk.. Opened thread, read it, thought what a good idea, took picture of desk as was and hosted it.. i really should get around to cleaning my desk!! lol

Screen and machine on left is my work computer, screen on right is for clients computers, computer on right is clients. (im a technician btw..)

That they are, and the best $120 I ever spent on sound gear

One channel appears to be fading on me though, but Im too lazy to get the soldering iron out to redo the solder points to see if it helps ;)

Im all good thanks, wife bought me a replacement 2.1 set recently, hence why the Cambridge set is at work :)

Desk is a little small and I broke the keyboard drawer. Time for a new big desk I'm thinking.

I don't want to post mine.. lol O and Jame Bond have you thought of using synergy It a program that lets you control two comps (like your main comp and your laptop) with one keyboard and mouse, it does it via the network. Just an idea

No it's not mine. But it is very impressive setup running five macs, three pcs and a linux comp with one keyboard and mouse. More info on this setup here.

This my my desk, it's like me, a bit of a mess at times. theer are two computers here. The Yellow box is the vista machine, it's got two montors (22" in landscape and a 15" in portrate) Also not the mirror, which is great for playing with the usb ports on the back.
The desk, as an old packing sheet on top, that's clamped to the desk to give me more work space, as well as an addon clamped to the the left, for me xp box keyboard. TV is a really old National Quintrix. boxes under desk are random softtooys and bit's than I'm collecting for montage/assemblage work) Oh the top desk is made from an old door, it's clamped to the desk also and is on backwards (note ugly stableizers on front no back) as I canged around my desktop (icons are so much easier to use).
And I like Yellow :)
