What about the app prices etc? I see the price in Australia has gone down now. Is there any word on possible price cuts for other terrortories such as NZ? I'm guessing app prices aren't set on release day excahge rates, but at some fixed rate determined by apple.

I think if it were going to happen here it would have happened at the same time. Australia was one of several countries that had their pricing modified all at the same time, so I'm sure if ours was going to change it would have been then as well.

Just read this article abouit the soon to be released HP tablets.

Even with GST added to the US price, they still seem nearly $150 overpriced. I know we always pay a premium down here, but I thought even $699 would have been a more realistic price for NZ. I would've thought HP would've tried to compete a bit more on price against the ipad.

My wife is a flight attendant so either Hong Kong, Canada, or the USA. Hong Kong is the cheapest though.
