Or (roughly) translated by Altavista BabelFish.

Have you tried it? Is it in English or Chinese .

I tested it with msi-device, not working.
Driver is installed, but btstackserver didn´t start.
License-Error on start..
so you must patch btsec.dll for some devices
offsets are the same as in dell-software
later I test it with some other bluetooth-devices, maybe anyone is working
What is your working-device?

Which dongle are you people using and which OS are you installing this to? I'm still trying to get it to work on Win2003, no luck yet and no reply from MSI (like always).

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

I was starting to hate my Belkin F8T001. Their old drivers were so buggy with my Nokia 3650 on XP. Then I d/loaded the 1.4.1.6 drivers and did the whole swap License file and HEX hack.

Now my Belkin loves my nokia, and I can do all kinds of cool stuff. Now if UPS would show up with my BT200, I would be so much happier.

Guys, I am new to this. I have a Microsoft bluetooth transceiver / enumerator that came with the Microsoft bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo. For some reason I can't get internet connection to my iPAQ h5555. Both devices can see each other fine, but not all services (such as PAN) are enabled on the Microsoft bluetooth.

Does anyone know whether installing BTW 1.4.1.6 will resolve this problem? What kind of .dll changes do I have to make? Sorry guys but I am really ignorant when it comes to this stuff.

Anyway, here is a link to the bluetooth kit I have in case it might help:

Thanks

protos the Microsoft Bluetooth adapter with original software will only allow the mouse and keyboard to connect to your computer. Other devices can see but the adapter does not offer "services" to them.

Up in this thread someone posted a hint that something can be done. Just look around this thread and keep an eye on it until something clearer comes out.

You always can get a DLINK adapter, install the update 1.4 and use your mouse and keyboard (simple solution). This will allow your H5555 to use the services like internet access too.

Perhaps eatfish care to explain more how he accomplished to use the changes indicate here with the Microsoft adapter?

Hello all...

>>Perhaps eatfish care to explain more how he accomplished to use the changes indicate here with the Microsoft adapter

Of course, it's infact very easy to do (and sorry if its written badly, it hard to write these things in another language... ):

-------

1. Just follow the guide on how to "patch" the dell driver with the other license file and the hexeditor (the link on top op this page).

2. Then when you install the dell driver it will remove the drivers for the MS BT dongle but when windows finds the device again it will install the drivers it just removed (and these doesn't work with the widcomm software).. So you have to wait for the install to finish.

3. The widcomm software will fail to load right after the installation (because of the driver), then go to "device mannager" in windows and update the drivers for the MS BT Transciever with the drivers included in the dell package (in the widcomm software there IS drivers for the MS BT dongle). You will have to select the drivers your self, if windows does a search for the drivers it will just (again) install its own, insted just point it to the btwusb.inf file.

4. After the drivers have installed then just reboot and everything should work...

---------

I've had some problems keeping connection with my SE P800 and my SE T68I but most of the time it works fine (not sure if it's the software or hardware or something else... Absolutely no problems with my MS BT Mouse, works every time (just have to be paired once)....

I hope that you can use this to make your MS BT dongles work...
