As everybody knew it would be.

Sky simply does not have the Tech Chops to bring new on hardware and streaming services (at any cost to the end user).

I really like VFTV and would of been much happier if they just kept it running on the same box. But added a cheap option to get Sky Starter on VFTV (discovery etc) as a way of getting money from it (As well as sports and movies as an option).

I suppose we have to be thankful that Vodafone just didn't shut it down full stop without involving Sky to come up with anther option.

Anyway on a brighter note based on the competitive offerings previously made to me for broadband and VTV when the Sky channels went to Sky for billing  I would appear to be getting broadband and VTV for the equivalent of just broadband from other suppliers.

I am happy to wait

What a nightmare. We have vodafone tv and get billed by vodafone and not by sky and when I ask about our account been merged to sky. They all asked for account number and we do not have a vodafone tv account number. Does not even show on the invoice the account number.

I get billed by Sky for the Sky channels delivered through Vodafone cable.

Do you get VTV through Vodafone cable or Chorus fibre?

Anyone who has other Vodafone services (such as broadband or mobile) should now have had their billing transferred direct to Sky.

The rest of us with no other Vodafone services are still being billed for Sky by Vodafone.

Good to see the shareholders find out first, then customers by reading Stuff.

if there was some equivalence of service with sky subscribers that would be something - the declining service options for content (I note the restart function on tv3 has gone again), the facts I can’t use my sky subscription with sky go for content…. Well….

It disappeared again last week. I check most days (because we use it) - on Monday it was still AWOL but was back again last night.

In my mind this is not a very compelling offering.

But I guess that is because I spend a reasonably small amount of time watching TV.

I am a VTV and Sky subscription, multi room and Vodafone customer still being billed through Vodafone. My old Sky customer number is still active with $0 as the billing. I get the emails about 'do nothing' you will be transferred over but nothing has happened.

I rang Sky but no one I talked to had a clue about any dates or details Sky taking over VTV billing or about the pods. Quite frustrating. Will just wait till end of summer I guess. I feel there will likely be a 'can't do it' announcement and the choice will be a Sky Box and back to dishes..

I am a Vodafone customer but I bought 2 standalone boxes and I pay my SKY bill through the VTVportal. SKY don't even have my details when I call them up and they can't even identify me and when I call Vodafone they can't identify me either because standalone customers paying through the VTV portal don't get customer numbers. Very unorganized. I've also been told by some call centre staff that if you paid your bill through a Vodafone plan by not owning the box you can get 20% off your sky bill when you get the new SKY POD/BOX but standalone customers only get 1 month free. They know nothing.
