Yeah! Good point. Need to know what the setup is before connecting as it may not actually be a dish connection in the unit.


Is there a way to tell easily without involving management (Who are already upset I take my own tv down there) ?

In terms of LNB Selection is that straight forward?

Well do they have a box in each room that  you change channel on, or do you just do an autoscan on the TV and get a static and diagonal lines covered version of the channel generally with the aspect ratio set wrong so you are missing the sides of the picture and the audio levels are vastly different between channels?
