Wrexx96: hey, booked a batch for oct 24-25, no sky, quarter finals of world cup on, only a free view dish or tv there. Any chance of watching th game there somehow? Take decoder from home etc?
richms: Sky used to encourage you to take your sky decoder to the batch even letting you pay full price to get a dish installed there for it.

Not quite this situation, but close enough probably. If the dish works for Freeview, it works for Sky, right?
nathan: BTW its a bach not a batch
or a crib, if you're in the south
Wrexx96: Thanks nathan
networkn: We have a property in the Coromandel, it's like a timeshare, run as a motel type thingy. They get different channels and non HD, if I disconnect thier tuner and plug in my SKY HDI, with HD Ticket, will I get HD?
I expect so but thought I'd at least ask!
richms: Unless the "motel type thingie" has several centralised recievers connected to analog modulators like many do. Some even use dreambox's to minimise how many connections they have to pay for.
