Pretty sure NZ knockout games are on Prime (live). The other QFs won't be live, but maybe delayed.

In caravaning people tend to take their decoders with them with little problems.  Need to make sure you've got a dish there though.

I think it's against the T&Cs to use your decoder in a different location but I don't imagine you'll have much of a problem in this scenario. I think it's to stop people getting multiple decoders and sharing them out amongst multiple dwellings.

Also, I've seen threads with people wondering why their dish doesn't work with their sky decoder so you might have some configuration issues that you should try and figure out beforehand.

Sky used to encourage you to take your sky decoder to the batch even letting you pay full price to get a dish installed there for it.

Not quite this situation, but close enough probably. If the dish works for Freeview, it works for Sky, right?

Yes, but if LNB frequencies are different at both addresses, you need to adjust a setting in the Sky box. Not sure that Sky make it available how to get to that setting (I have done it over the phone with them, not hard, but I can't remember how to get into that setting - sure it must be somewhere on the net).

What is the collective noun for bach?

Is it a file of baches?

We have a property in the Coromandel, it's like a timeshare, run as a motel type thingy. They get different channels and non HD, if I disconnect thier tuner and plug in my SKY HDI, with HD Ticket, will I get HD?

I expect so but thought I'd at least ask!

No reason why not. All you are doing is changing to another dish antenna. Only likely problem is the other dish may have an LNB with different frequency which would require selection of correct LNB frequency in your box  setup.

Unless the "motel type thingie" has several centralised recievers connected to analog modulators like many do. Some even use dreambox's to minimise how many connections they have to pay for.

Yeah! Good point. Need to know what the setup is before connecting as it may not actually be a dish connection in the unit.
