attewell:

how far away are you from releasing Apple TV4 app? Days/Weeks/months?

I couldn't possibly commit to a date, but we're pushing to get it done as soon as possible. But I can rule out Days.

At this stage, yes. We're still working on it.

attewell: @KieranfromLightbox so.. show is your appletv3 app going? have a release before xmas?

Unlikely. More probable is early 2016, but I'm loath to put any firm dates on it at this stage.

It's not that hard to build the front end, it's the protected content side of things that takes a little longer to wrangle.

Early 2016 is fast disappearing... is there an Apple TV 4 App in sight and/or airplay?

Yes and Yes. We're getting very close on both.

Entirely dependent on Apple's review process at this point, so probably weeks

Apple TV 2&3 got broken in September last year when ios9 launched. Apple tv4 doesn't work with AirPlay either and there is no lightbox app yet

That's the point, read the earlier posts. Apparently both are going through Apple verification now.  I would doubt they intend to release an app for ATV3, but airplay should work again from another iOS device once the update is released.

Sred: 2 iPads, 2 iPhones a Apple TV2 and a Apple TV3 and to watch light box i now need to buy a chromecast. guess who's not going to renew his light box subs.

Yep, I was also given a free 6 month NEON subscription, no ATV4 App, so it won't get used.

I am NOT going to use screen sharing etc using my laptop because I use my laptop for other things WHILE I watch TV.

Netflix has it right, they produced Apps for every platform they could because they want customers and for that I give them $$ each month.

All the others who have "special deals" with hardware/TV providers are simply artificially limiting their market, forcing people to use alternative services,

forcing people to use overseas services, and eventually ensuring they have worked out their needs without them and they will then be MUCH harder

to win over as a customer.
