Which app store is Curiositystream available on?
New Zealand. You don't need to geo-unblock this channel.

I would happily pay for a Sport Streaming service from Sky that was:
1. High Quality
2. Reliable
3. Able to be watched on a Roku or other box that is plugged in to my TV - NOT a laptop.
Livestream.com is passable for NRL (some games are great, others terrible) - but still miss Netball.
If there was an affordable, usable alternative for sport then Sky would struggle.

Thanks littleheaven. Just signed up to free month trial. Is the subscription cost in USD? It's not obvious.

Sky need to conduct "exit surveys" with customers who quit - or stop pretending "reality" is just a genre of TV show. A lot of people might have used the end of the Rugby World Cup for their timing but it's not the reason they quit - who signed up just to get RWC and cancelled as soon as it was over? They have a bigger problem and they're not prepared to face it.
Sky had a monopoly for decades and I feel they exploited the public as a result. Now there's plenty of competition, most of it at lower cost, and Sky is left with an antiquated business model and an inflexible delivery system. Their response is to continually raise prices for a less attractive service.
My list is the same as @trig42. Sky needs to be cheaper. They need to unbundle channels - out of the 68 channels available in the basic package I watch 15 (22%) of them and I don't want to pay for the garbage I don't watch. If they have the content in HD they should be broadcasting it in HD - no extra cost to subscribers. And except for a one-off fee for a second decoder there should be no cost for multiroom.
For me personally, Spark's free Lightbox offer will be the final nail in Sky's coffin, unless I hear Premier League football will be back on Sky next season at no extra cost.
If this trend continues it will be bad for consumers, hands up those that want only Freeview as a broadcast option. Streaming is a strong contender for the future but not the only, it is still too early in the game to move.
What are people doing for live HD sports streaming instead of sky? Only really interested in cricket, rugby and the V8 supercars.
If I can subscribe to a decent service for this, then sky is gone bye bye.

You watch 15 channels. Thats more than most - the world over. Roy Morgan research shows that most Australians watch less than 10 channels http://www.roymorgan.com/findings/6675-foxtel-pay-tv-subscribers-watch-eight-channels-december-2015-201602162237 and that sort of stat is pretty much consistent in other countries too.
BTW, who offers HD content at no extra cost?
Sixth Labour Government - "Vision without Execution is just Hallucination"

I think so. But still a good price in either currency :)

No hand up emoji on here but me!
How is it not too early to move?

I cancelled 2 months ago as my new home doesnt have a dish and i feel it won't be installable in a way that I'm happy with. I found Curiositystream so that reduced the missing it factor. Lightbox, NF NZ and CS are all on one device now, Apple TV4, so thats another convenience
Which app store is Curiositystream available on?
iOS and I assume Android. PC. I use the Apple TV4 tVOS app. (I dont use Geo unblockers so its NZ available Apple TV app)
NextWorld is great

Too early? I mean nationally not geekzone, not everyone is knowledgeable or interesting faffing around to get streaming up and going.

I don't think it's too early to start ramping it up - they're already getting left behind by the likes of Netflix - but for some people, it's not going to be feasible to use SVOD. My parents, for example. They have super slow ADSL and can barely work their Sky decoder, but Dad loves his sport and Mum her UK shows.

I got sent a link to an exit survey. I was brutally honest in my reasons for leaving. I do hope they listen, as I would reconsider Sky again if my main grievances were addressed (quality & cost).
