This was a problem with 2 degrees and after talking to customer service they have sorted it out. Must say there was a long long wait period

Was using 2 degree mobile data in the mean time and it was fine. Tried to check with 2 degree if i could be credited with my mobile data.. No such luck.

Hi Neil,

I thought I'd provide a bit more background information for you -  Customers buy a service from a provide for connectivity to the internet. Various content owners (Spark sport, SkyTV, Microsoft etc.) store their content on caches as a delivery mechanism (a bunch of reasons why - Speed, Lower latecy, reducing international costs, resiliency etc.). Technology isn't perfect and sometimes things don't go as planned. The Akamai caches are supplied to providers to put on their network to serve up data, as such any issues observed with these need to be escalated to the cache provider for resolution.

Nick.

Thanks Nick, I now understand where the problem was now that I read it in details. Your post have been quite informative in getting to know the issue. However as in my previous reply was more looking to get it sorted to watch a game than getting an understanding what the details of it. Totally on board with technology is not always perfect that's where I guess as a combined package businesses should take a bit of responsibility should the technology fail them at some point. Especially if its a paid service. No complains on the technology shortcoming but will take up other issues with 2 degrees with the customer service aspect of the incident. Not a discussion for a technology forum so will leave it be for this.

Not everything is a 2 minute fix. Usually after 4.6 minutes people start asking for compensation. :-(

Sure I have been trying to get this working from 7 am this morning. A tad over 4.6 minutes. Thought it would be worth a shot as this was a reason why I taking a service in the first place. Amazon Prime on Broadband worked. Fan PASS on Broadband did not work. FAN PASS on Mobile data worked. Issue = FASS PASS on 2 Degree Broadband. More than the compensation of data it my missing the game that was the head banger.
