Sky have previously confimed that the HD channel will be encrypted similar to TV 3.




Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

O well, Looking at the prices of a HVR-4000 it wouldn't be worth it any how, Sux I live like 10Ks from Waitara and I can't get anyting on UHF

10Ks from Waiatarua should be OK with a decent aerial providing you don't live in a deep dell

woops yeah I mean Waiatarua (I googled what I thought was the spelling and "tv tower" and thats the name it came up with lol, should have checked)

Yeah we live down near sea level in titirangi, had a go once with a mast head amp aswell but still had a snowy prime picture. What sort of quality are you looking for as a guide of if you can pick up a signal.
