not sure whether my issue was caused as a result of an outage.

Add me to the list, but like others, everything went fine when I unplugged the decoder and plugged it back in again. That was this morning as well.

I noticed they have a disclaimer on their website about technical problems, figures they must have had lotsa calls about it today.

you dont need to turn off the decoder to reset..behid the flip cover where the card inserts is a reset button...with everything on.push that reset button and hold till tv screen fades to nothing..turn off decoder then restart and after a few minutes it will reload

and all is sweet

this only works on mysky standard decoders are unplug and replug

Same. Didn't have to wait for 5 mins, though. Simple power cable unplug/replug did it.

Software update gone wrong?

They had a major update of the service ids yesterday across several transponders. This is to allow the addition of TVNZ's freeview services.

It appears this was sufficient to confuse a lot of their older STBs.

Anyone with a MySky or MySkyHDi have an issue?

When will we see 1 and 2 in HD now?

Sky haven't allocated these channels yet and probably won't until 7-10 days before launch. At the moment their HD configuration allows for 6 channels, 5 of which are in use, and it will be interesting to see how they can re-configure this for 7 or 8 channels with a major drop in video quality.

Just a pass through from TVNZ so not a issue as i understand. Total bandwidth across the transponder will have to be tweaked though.

Yes they will rebroadcast but they do not need to store the programing to make the timezones match
