Pomphobetus: I would really like to see SyFy US more than anything. Discovery and History Channels would be next choice. But I would also want Sky to update MySky HD hard drive sizes at the same time. Any more recorded Hi Def programmes on a regular basis and I would be limited to about 15 programmes, including daily news. If my wife archived any Living channel programmes etc in high definition I would have to delete things daily.

I notice the myskyhdi boxes have USB ports, maybe send a software update that will allow the use of external HDD's ?

Loved TechTV when it was on Telstra Clear cable (Before they just onsold sky, and just broadcast anything they could find). Sucked when it bit the bullet. Was the channel that I watched most often.

Between TWiT TV, Revision 3, and CNet, you can still get a whole lot of this tv, just in the form of IP-TV.

Yeah techTV was great, but when G4 bought them they stripped it to nothing and fired everyone. Revision3 picked up most of the presenters. Still a fan of Patrick norton, he host Tekzilla and HDNation which i get both in HD off revision3.

Discovery in HD would look good, Mythbusters in HD, many explosions.

Even if they got HD channels thought I doubt I'd get a MySki HDI. Pity no content providers will release HD decoders (with no recording capability).

If more channels go HD I would definiutely need a hard drive upgrade.

If all the crap my wife has on series link becomes HD there will be no room for the good stuff I like to watch.

Recording a FTA HD movie takes up absurd amounts of space at the moment - mostly because the ads seme to meant the movie lasts 20-30% longer than it would on Sky Movies.
