Has anybody qualified for a "Sky Rewards special offer"? My inlaws' TV can't stream TVNZ any more so this might be a good upgrade for them.
I've checked in their My Account page, but I can't see anything there. They've been a subscriber since March 2016.
VTV stay of execution extended until November 30th according to NZ Herald article.
Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.
Here is the offering for TV customers, received in email this morning.

So unless you are recording lots of programs or don't have a suitable internet connection why would you go for the box?

Add to that it is almost certain to be a bug fest for at least the first year
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
I want to know if you have 3 Sky Boxes (due to multiroom) - is it just $200 and they are all upgraded?

The new Sky box will also be able to record five shows at once – but you'll have to pay a $15/month MySky fee for the privilege.
How many without the $15 fee?
I feel this is a grievous mistake on their part, I can record 4 channels at once now!
What quality will the streaming be at? I've heard pretty mixed feedback on SkyNow.
