I'm currently able to view all of the iSky channels except Sport 1.

Which does sadly make iSky pretty much useless to me tonight.

I say to hell with the normal forum usage guidelines... WHat's the best stream available for the game? I pay Sky + Sky sports but for completely legit reasons I am unable to tune in and was hoping the iSky feed would be working.

Of course though it fails for the duration of the All Blacks game and will start working half an hour after it's finished.

Best stream anyone?

Cheers - N

Think of a yellow fruit that goes well in gin and tonic

Google that fruit plus sport

You're only missing out on ads being played while the game's on...

So after using a non-iSky method to see the ABs I figured I would try it for the lions game on SS1 and it works fine. The conspiracy theory nut in me sees this as a marketing ploy to get people to fork out for multiroom so they don't miss the big rugby games. Am I crazy???

Actually, to be fair, iSky for tonight's All Blacks match was flawless. I couldn't connect to Sky Sport 1 30 minutes before the game, but before the game started at 7:30, it worked again, so no complaint from me tonight!

Oh forgot that "ad" that played in the middle of the game! But apparently it was just an accident! (Some people even wanted a whole month of Sport for free because of this accident!...)

Since Sky have no interest in explaining the issue, I'll opine that the nature of the issue looks a lot like something to do with a number of sessions or authentication/DRM limit somewhere... It looks like if you can connect then the stream seems to function well...

This also fits well with feedback I have had from Sky that their testing shows the content servers aren't really under stress.

Mind you, connecting to the stream during an AB game appears to be impossible to at least a large number of people.

Cheers - N

ps... If anyone from Sky actually wants to correct me, or explain what actually happens every time there's something popular on, feel free.

I'll put my bet in for a connection or NAT table filling up on one of their routers / firewalls / load balancers. Everything they have suggested would not behave in the manner it does.

I often have this problem. Most times it resolves when I turn unblock.us on. Crazy that when I use my legitimate address and credentials it doesn't work but appear as overseas and boom there it is.
