That makes sense though... after midnight is Saturday.  It's "$5 Friday" not "$5 Friday and a bit of Saturday" ;-)

 

Yep seems to be buy at any stage on Friday for $5 and it will run until 11:59pm Friday night.

I had Fanpass up when they first came out, as their (right, but uncommon) use of the word 'midnight' was really confusing. I missed out on a coupon deal because it said midnight Sunday, which they considered to mean expired at 00:00 when Saturday finished and Sunday started, and not right at the end of the day Sunday night.

Advertising as Midnight Friday can actually technically mean when Friday starts, not at the end of the day on Friday night, as most Kiwi's tend to consider it.
