SheriffNZ: So if I want to start the rugby at 8pm instead of 7:35pm is that possible?

On demand implies to me that it is.

The press release only states replays and highlights on demand. We need more information.

Are you meaning its not live, but replays? I can't see that.

Take Spark Sport. F1 is live. If I jump an halfway through I can go back to the start. If I miss it, there is a replay OD. I assume that standard practice for SVOD?

If I have Sky with MySky thats not SkySportNow, its Sky Sports like it is now, just that it has extra channels and more content, so as normal, you need to record if you cant watch live

Are you ready for more sport?

On August 14, FAN PASS is becoming Sky Sport Now! Because life needs more sport, we’re bringing you more of what you love.

Sky Sport Now will bring you:
• 12 dedicated sport channels (including 10 Sky Sport and 2 ESPN channels)
• Offering more sport than ever before
• 4 channels bringing you the home of Rugby, Cricket, Golf and Football
• 5 channels to feature Netball, League, Motorsport, Extreme Sports and Local Sports
• Sky Sport News
• Highlights and Replays, Features and Documentaries on demand
• New Stats section with results, fixtures, tables, top performers on web and mobile
• Available on a range of big and small screen devices
• Pay-Per-View events

As part of this change, we’re removing the Mobile Pass. As a Mobile Pass customer, we will hold your current Mobile Pass price for 6 months, and give you access to all that Sky Sport Now has to offer. After 6 months (or if you cancel before then and want to resubscribe), you will need to select a new pass option. But don’t worry we will get in touch closer to the time and let you know your options.

Whilst we roll out these exciting enhancements to you, we have had to make some scheduling changes to Sky Sport 1- 4 between 1 August and 14 August 2019.
This affects our coverage of the PGA and LPGA Golf, and we will unfortunately not be able to show live coverage of these events on FAN PASS between 1 and 14 August.

GOLF HIGHLIGHTS
Although we won't have live coverage, we will be bringing you highlights of all the action from:
PGA Tour Events
- Wyndham Championship 1-4 Aug
- The Northern Trust 8-11 August
LPGA Tour Events
- Ladies’ Scottish Open 8 – 11 August

GOLF LIVE ON SKY SPORT 3
AIG Women’s British Open 1-4 August 2019
Live from the Woburn Golf Club reigning champion Georgia Hall of England will be aiming to defend her title against some of the world’s best golfers including New Zealand’s Lydia Ko, and China’s first World No. 1 Shanshan Feng. With 29 different nations battling it out for the title, it points to being a tournament not to miss.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO? Get ready to explore a bigger world of sport. On August 14 your app will ask you to update to give you access to Sky Sport Now. Everything else we will take care of.

So based on that email you received, buy a mobile pass now while it’s still for sale then enjoy six months of Sky Sport Now once it launches for $15.99 a month?

Not sure if you need to have the mobile pass already (which I do), but could be worth a punt for sure.

Last night I tried on Skygo Via the web to watch the netball final highlights, and it wouldn't play.

But if you have a STB you could watch it live on that or record it?

Totally not the point. What if I was out?

So I wonder what devices this relates to... All of them?  That's a long list.

On our website on PCs and Macs (running IE, Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari).

Apple Devices:
iPhone 5 and newer, iPad 3 and newer, iPod Touch, iPad Air, iPad Mini, Apple TV (4th Generation).

Android Devices: Samsung Galaxy S3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, Samsung Galaxy S 10.5, L G Nexus 4, L G Nexus 5, Motorola Nexus 6, Nexus 7 Tab, HTC Nexus 9 Tab, Samsung Nexus 10 Tab, Motorola XYBOARD, Motorola MOTO X.

We recommend running the latest operating system on your device, to ensure the best streaming experience.

HDMI out from PC/Mac, AirPlay and Android Mirroring are supported if you have a compatible TV.

Available on Chromecast.

Select Samsung Smart TVs

PlayStation3 and 4.

Then you have the same access you always did via Skygo.  No change.

I am not sure if you are just confused somewhere along the line. I tried Sky Go as I mentioned and couldn't get any videos to play. They may have had a technical issue, but I wasn't that impressed to say the least.

I have just logged into the Sky Go website from a different location and can confirm that even on a different computer, different browser, I STILL cannot get video to play. Interestingly, I can get thumbnails for the entire stream.

Nope. I understand.  It has traditionally been fairly unreliable, so hopefully they update it at some point with something more fit for purpose.  But this is a Fanpass replacement not a Skygo replacement.

Hopefully this is falls under the "Watch this space, lots going on, none that i can comment on" that @tripp commented on earlier.

Edit: sorry I haven't had a STB or Skygo for a few months so I cannot test it for you to see if it is an account issue or something more generic.

Yes. I have 2 Internet Connections. Both are doing the same thing. One has a DNS unblocker the other doesn't (work and home).

Is anyone else able to login and play content from the Sky Go Website tonight? (Sorry this is off topic).
