lxsw20:

You can tell a lot more out of a single compressed image than most then, impressive.

Save your sarcasm, I commented on what was provided as an EXAMPLE. If it wasn't representative then take that up with the person who provided it.

Be careful, this site tries to get you to download and install an MSI file.

Make sure you get the Rar file.

And before anyone says anything about more about the video quality. Ive just been informed that the rugby clip was from the buildup of the 2nd test and the footage was an action clip from the 1st test which was filmed in the usual 1080 HD. The 2nd Rugby Test was done via the new Nep4K truck hence the soft footage was in fact upscaled 1080 not native 4k.

Il try and get a True 4k clip

and the "2nd test" video above does not refer to the 2nd test rugby

This could be the only thing that would make me upgrade to the new box.

I got rid of Sky in January after over 30 years. One of the questions asked was what we could do to make me stay. I said have 4K Sport content. This might make me go back into the fold again. I saw a few years back some foxtel league footage in 4K when i was in Aus and boy that looked good. The extra detail was probably the first thing i noticed.

Will there be 4K Sports on Sky Go or Sky Sport Now anytime soon or just Sky Box satellite decoders for now. It would make sense to test it on Sky Go and Sky Sport Now first before Sky Box satellite decoders.

With the Olympics coming up will Sky NZ be ready for 4K Sports on Sky Box and SkyGo/SSN
