First impressions are excellent. Much better than the Samsung app. It's good to be able to buy a pass directly from the app despite the itunes premium.

I read that while I was looking in the FAQ for the number of registered devices allowed (didn't find that)

How much is the premium?

A pass bought via the app costs $1 more than a pass bought on the website.

Day pass $20.99

Month pass $56.99

Is that all, not worth worrying about.

But, if you have payment issues, you have to talk to Apple not Fanpass. If you buy a pass with Apple and you want to watch Fanpass on other devices, you have to take an option that will email Apple, and they will email back instructions on how to set that up. Ugh. I suggest to never buy pass on the ATV4, do it on your computer at the website.

I like it. Tons of highlights. One of the Rio feeds was a bit jerky, but otherwise everything looked good. Can't wait to see the cricket on it!

So just got an email from Apple talking about Fan Pass as the headline. Way to go on getting Apple to do that! So is the app for ATV4 now available?

We are live which is great!!
We have a couple of little very annoying issues that have appeared for the first time in Production which is disappointing. Resolver teams are working on them right now.

Do check it out though and let us know what you think.

Cheers

What are the issues, just so we can be aware and not worry about it, knowing that they are known

There were some issues playing some content but we believe they are now resolved.

Glad that most people seem to like the look of the app. We intend to do a few more small things to improve it further.

It would be great if you could add a 24 hour replay feature (as in the browser). The Apple TV and it's remote handle rewind/fast forward functions really well.

I watched the open water race last night. It was fine, then later on it went to the rotating wheel often.

Also, when it resumed, it was when it failed, rather than live, and I could not FF to live, or in fact FF or RW to where I wanted

FAN PASS ON APPLE TV OFFERS NO STRINGS, ‘SPEED DATING’ SPORTS VIEWING

Streaming the sports you love just got easier for Kiwis to access today with FAN PASS among the first New Zealand entertainment apps to launch on the new Apple TV (4th generation).

Apple TV owners can now enjoy the freedom of FAN PASS with instant access to LIVE and highlighted sports across selected SKY Sports channels. FAN PASS lets you dip in and out with no locked contracts, think sports speed dating - all you need is an internet connection.

“We can’t wait to see just how much our customers will love the FAN PASS experience on Apple TV. FAN PASS prides itself on being the best when it comes to quality entertainment experiences and we've made sure not to disappoint,” said FAN PASS General Manager Cuan Gray.

“Of course, NeuLion are still back-ending our platform, so we've got two of the best in their class supporting our product. This means all the sports Kiwis go nutty over will be the super slick, high quality that you’ve come to expect, along with the stability of live streaming that Neulion brings.”

At FAN PASS, we live and breathe sport and with our technology hook-up from sports streaming giant Neulion, your sports viewing is in the world’s best hands.

Hold a Bledisloe Cup party with your mates or crack a good Kiwi craft beer in front of the golf, from league to cycling, motorsport to darts, there is something for everyone on FAN PASS.

Just simply download the FAN PASS app from the Apple TV App Store, no strings, just seriously good sports on a seriously cool platform.

You've obviously never visited the Sky Sports website - always heaps of highlights there, across lots of sports.

Loving it, watch the rugby right now, easy to use and quality is great, so much easier than having to airplay, if I can get hold of the ipad!

Sometimes I have to close the app to get it going again as it says I don't have a fanpass which I do have. Restarting the app fixes this
