I have MySky.  I have it connected via an ethernet cable to our home network.  Hoping I won't need a wireless link.

An EPG feature I would like to see -  hide channels I don't subscribe to.

I dont see that happening. Its so you can see what you are missing out on.
Showing channels you arent subscribed to is a form of advertising.

According to the review on Stuff there is a mode to select your favourite channels for display in the EPG.  Is that the sort of thing you're after?

That would work.  I haven't noticed that feature but I'll have look around.  I know in Sky's app you can select favourites and view a filtered EPG.

I realise unsubscribed channels in the EPG is adverting for sky so unlikely to change.  But .... even a low budget, non-freeview approved satellite box lets you delete/re-order channels in the EPG

Its also listed as a new feature on the skyondemand website.  And there is a video tutorial on the "video and tutorials" page of the website too.  I havent watched it - still waiting on the upgrade.

As my remote was playing up on the old standard Sky box, the one that is SD and has no HDMI out, I have had the new Digital box installed. I quite like it as I now have 1080i on the Freeview channels. It has Sky On Demand, which I have not used but like what was explained to me as to what it does.

The problem I have is that I use a Logitech Harmony One remote to control all of my equipment and the new box is not in the Logitech database. Possibly because the box is so new. In the System specs of the box, it list the manufacturer as KAON (also on sticker on the box) and also on the sticker, the Model as NS1120. Anyone else have the new box and has tried to enter it into a Harmony remote?

I think i will email Logitech with the make and model and ask them to get the codes into their database.

@linw

I'll go look at that, thanks. I phoned Sky's technical department (if there is such a thing lol) and they say it is a Kaon NS1120-500. Confusing eh!
What is it that makes you sure that it is a Pace My Sky HDi?

I believe that we are talking about two different boxes.
Mine is the new Digital Set Top Box that started it's roll out about two weeks ago.

I'll try to attach a photo of mine.
