Working now with standard router dns settings.

Light box won't load on my Apple TV,

It loads up screen of feature program (10 days in the valley), then goes to Lightbox start screen, circles go around on thumb nails and then it crash's out to Apple home screen.

Have deleted applic, reloaded and it's still crashing.

Has any one got Lightbox working on Apple TV.

I sent them an Email, and even though I put in the version numbers of everything, they still told me to check had latest version.

The main thing is from their response they don't seem to realise it's not working.

Apple TV Gen 4, not the 4K one.

I done all their trouble shooting but still no joy, as my above post just starts loading home screen, then applic just crash's exits out by itself back to Apple start screen.

Netflix runs fine, but they still seem to be interested in speed tests, I'm on fibre 100/20

Just me, or is there something wrong, I'm just not using any third party DNS, and Netflix is running fine on same Apple TV.

If you have time, could you perhaps do a short video of the issue and DM it to me?

I've been using our app on Apple TV today in thw office and it's been fine, so keen to see what's going on...

I created a dropbox account as not sure how to DM video.

LightBox Crashing Video.

Lightbox Version 2.4.3
TvoS version 11.2.1
Apple Tv Model A1625
Have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, no effect. Have also made sure Lightbox not running in background when starting.

Also have two Apple Tv's on same network, other one 4k, have unplugged the 4k one and still no go.

Very odd. Did you say your 4k Apple TV suffers the same thing?

I haven't installed on 4k Apple TV as I'm at my device limit.

I deleted the one that's not working and then signed it back in but same result.

Got Email Password screen on Apple TV after deleting it as a device, but then same sequence of events after password entered.

I'm unable to add 4k Apple one to test as I have to wait up to 30 days now, account on Lightbox doesn't tell me how many days remaining.

Hi George,

Did you guys change anything as it just started working tonight (When I did that video was when last tried)

Can you please ignore the PM I sent, as I don't need Light Box on 4K one as the TV it's plugged into has a smooth Light Box Applic, was just interested to find out if both Apples had same problem.

If Light Box team changed something, thanks- otherwise very strange.

New issue.

Haven’t used lightbox for a couple of weeks and tonight it wouldn’t open again.
Set dns back to router but same issue, so deleted the lightbox and installed again from the App Store.
Now it opens but the remote only works for a split second so can’t log in now!

Is the latest tvOS 11.3 causing issues?

@CYaBro

We've not had any other reports of that kind of issue...does it do it consistently? How far can you get before the remote stops?

Well since I deleted the app, as it wouldn't open (Just hanging on yellow logo screen as previously it has done), even after resetting the DNS back to default router IP address. (Instead of getflix DNS)

After reinstalling the app it starts up and then shows the login screen asking for email and password.

If you don't do anything with the remote on that screen within a couple of seconds it stops responding.

If you're quick and click the touchpad you get the screen where it shows you the list of existing email addresses used on the system (From the App store settings) but after that you can't scroll up or down to select an email address, and can't select to enter in a new email address.

Only thing you can do is press and hold Menu button to go back to the Home screen.

It is doing this consistently, so can't use Lightbox at all now on the Apple TV.

Out of all the apps we have on the Apple TV, the Lightbox app has been by far the worst!

Never had to delete and reinstall any other app.

I haven't watched Lightbox for months so, with this thread being revived, I thought I'd have a gander. Works just fine on my android phone (Nexus 6P) but not on my Samsung TV - UA48H5500.

On the TV I can open Lightbox (v2.901) just fine but whatever program I select just gives me the yellow spinning circle of death (scod).
