Define "fair"? In an era of professional sport a fair price would be in the realm of a minimum of probably $100 for a season. Even that wouldn't cover costs.
Remember that sport is funded by TV rights, and while it's unknown exactly how much Sky pay for those rights it is somewhere in the vicinity of a minimum $20m annually, with some speculation the new rate is significantly above that.
If you don't think that's "fair" then how do you think sport should be funded? People are paying hundreds more that per year to patch EPL games as an example.
