I found Twitter got the best response, sometimes deathly slow, but other times quicker
Edd: Yeah, it’s better but still poor compared with other apps like Netflix and Prime. It does seem to get worse the longer the app’s running too. Hopefully this is just an interim fix and they’ll keep working on it.
Edd: Embarrassment is right. No 4K, no HDR. You get the sense there’s not a lot of budget behind Neon and what they do have goes on content, not improving the tech.
My Neon free period expired, so I terminated the service and told them why. Neon replied that the app is updated they're waiting for it to roll out. I did notice it is a little bit better when I used it yesterday, but not great still.
Those Google engineers haven't fixed it then....
andrew75: I'm not seeing any improvement with this version, if anything it's worse. It is only barely usable if you terminate the app between eavh episode, and don't need to touch the UI while watching something. I really struggle to understand just how they have managed to stuff this up so badly. There was nothing wrong with it when we first signed up.
