I have added Sky movies via the online web portal (my account) and got an email confirming the purchase but can't watch any movies. GUI tells me I am not subscribed

 

I thought this would be instant once purchase is confirmed even got a email confirming the purchase

 

 

Have you signed up online and activated your account with new the Sky Box?

Anyone know how long processing and shipping is? Ordered 3 on Wednesday. Recieved an email to say the order was successful but nothing else since.

Having said that I have logged into my account to add Movies and nothing happens, maybe our accounts are in Limbo!!

Sky has been overwhelmed with orders, now looking around 7 - 10 days

Ordered mine on Thursday . it was sent Friday and if it wasnt the weekend i would have it today. I think it maybe is just luck.

IainD: Just this minute come off live chat with Sky TV regarding my ‘ pending ‘ order for the the new sky box, seems to me they’ve massively underestimated the demand for the box since Wednesday. On my account it says the order is bring processed, they hasn’t changed for 48 hrs now and I’ve just been advised/ told that disbatch of the boxes can be as much as a week

Frustrated as their customer service personnel aren’t being told anything regarding these new boxes

Read on here that some got their boxes within 24 hrs of placing their order , even as far away as Christchurch ….. really ???

 

Ordered Wednesday, received Friday in Whanganui

 

Now I have to binge-watch my recorded material, probably change over on Monday

New Sky Box, HDMI Splitter issue sorted!

 

After talking to a real kiwi based Sky Tech I have sorted my HDMI splitter & CAT6 transfer system into the second lounge.

 

Needed yo go into My Hub, Android, Device Settings, Screen and charge setting from Auto (max resolution) to 1080i.

 

Quality not quite as good as main TV, but it certainly works!

Great work thanks for that, are you using 1080i @ 50Hz input? that's what my current setup says on the other TV's, I haven't got the new box yet but image looks good, much better than when I was using a RF modular setup

Hopefully that solution doesn’t kill your chance of 4K on your main set (as that’s supposed to be an advantage the new box has over the legacy one) once they make 4K content available…….?
