The website is live. Not sure if watching anything works as I don't have an account. Seems a lot better for finding things quickly on-demand.
I got that too, but that email told me I won’t be able to cancel the pass during the update time, they said I will still be able to access all live and on demand content which is a lie
It doesn’t matter what I want to watch, I paid for the service so I should have the right to consume any content and I was told that the update won’t impact me accessing the content via that update email..

I had to remove the app from my phone, and reinstall it, had no updates available. Once reinstalled, seems to be working well.

What a shit show..
I can't watch anything as its all locked and asking me to buy another pass when I last paid for on July 28

Pretty mind boggling why they wouldn't do this update during the week. Seems like the main issue is people phones/devices haven't automatically installed the updates.
101 in app development is you can never control what is on the users phones. Really needed to be mid-week so they could communicate this better.
