Lightbox - what is the story with 5.1 sound? Is it a thing or not? And on all platforms?

Hi there, I have actually replied a while ago via direct message.

We don’t support 5.1 sound as a ‘feature’. Some content we offer will have 5.1 sound support baked in, but it is completely dependent on your local set up.

Thanks ella. So to confirm, some content will have 5.1 sound and other content will not? And this is across all devices (but dependent on your set up)?

Is there any way to identify what content has 5.1 surround sound? And what about plans to bring 5.1 to more content/devices?

sorry, no way to identify which content supports 5.1 sound, but most new content should have it.

also, no plans to support this as a feature at the moment.
