Yes NEP's Tahi is the only UHD truck. Its Auckland based but can go on the ferry if there's a high profile event like an All Blacks match down south.
It must travel because last week Hurricanes v Moana was in UHD at Wellington stadium.
I am more excited it looks like most of the F1 will be in 4K

I thought they said F1 would be in 4K this week? Looks like theey have supercars qualifying today on SS1, but weirdly the race itself isn't on SS1 so no 4K for that one. The only F1 session on SS1 is the race itself.. Good thing i have F1TV
I wouldn’t trust the guide this far out. They often move sports across the channels much closer to the start time. Didn’t they also state that 4K content might be put on a pop-up channel when required.

From what I have seen its only the race in UHD. Not FP's and Quallys

Watching the warriors game on ch 251 (SS1 4K), can barely tell the difference between the HD channel and the 4K channel.
Noting this is on Sky Pod and not 100% sold on the streaming quality.
Side note: Seem to have to reboot the sky pod to make ch 251 work
Anyone else struggling watch the 4K feed of the F1 on Sky Sports Now? I switch back to the non-4K feed its so bad. Flickering blacks screens and artifacting every few seconds.
And just on that, the difference in picture quality between the two feed hardly perceptible. If I did a blind back to back test I honestly don't think I could tell the difference. Is this because Sky are streaming a really low bitrate 4K? I remember the F1.com stream that I trialled last year looked amazing in 4K.

Same on the Sky Pod. Seems more stable now but it was bad for a portion there.
Yeah, same here. Looks it was a problem with the feed rather than a SSN issue.
My friend in the UK tells me Sky UK broadcast in 4k HDR which makes quite the difference.

I had the same on the white box around laps 14-17 I think it was. It was perfect after that.

Im on Sky Sports Now on apply tv4k via sky fibre.
I found both the 4k and normal streams were poor for both the warriors on friday and the F1. It kept freezing and I had to exit and go back in to restart the channel & app multiple times. V frustrating. Even the 6 nations highlights viewed on catch up were v low res for a couple mins.
Speedtest returned 400kMbps so can only assume its the sky feed.
Didnt notice a difference between HD and 4k when they were streaming properly.
Eagle eyed viewers would have seen that home games for the warriors are always in 4K but last weekend when they played in Cronulla the game was 4K. This shows what I believed in that Sky could do all NRL games in 4K with the fox content but only choose warriors games.
I'd imagine SOO and other finals etc they will do in 4K. Good and getting better

Just an observation: Watching the A-League final on Sky Sport 1 4K, the image quality feels very dark compared to their normal HD feed. They just had an aerial shot of the stadium and the pitch looked way brighter
