I wish it didn't update. No added features except on demand and the third channel recording. It lags, freezes and barely works.

We have the new decoder for multi-room and it works just fine, has a much better range on the epg as it goes ahead 2 days. Doesn't have mysky but I have read that it also has series stacking.

I find the stacking a nuisance. Stacks in the wrong order with different seasons randomly scattered around .

Interesting.  I've noticed two different stacks for a series - pre update and post update.  But never noticed that episodes are randomly scattered between the folders.   Will have to keep a close eye on this as I only rely on the date of recording not the series/episode description when I watch.

I don't find the grey interface look any better than the old look and even on a 32inch screen don't have a massive issue seeing the font.

So does this stacking at least separate different shows, I would of though that this would keep things tidier if it worked properly.

Am I the only one who feels there is a serious lack of contrast with the new UI?
I can't read anything at a distance now..

Unless I'm missing something?

linw: Sorry, you are right. Definitely different boxes! Seeing as mine will be updated in situ, I didn't know there was a different new box.

Just went to add that box of yours and it is there! Digital Set top device, Kaon, NS1120-500 and BINGO.

I can not find the box in Logitech database. I have been in email contact with them and they say it is not there yet. They said their engineers will get the Hex codes to put in the database. That was 5 odd weeks ago and still nothing. I have emailed Sky and asked for the codes so I can send them to Logitech. Somehow, I have not much confidence that Sky will comply.

Any there other Logitech Harmony Remote users, that have the new Sky Kaon NS1120-500 boxes?

Well not scattered but it doesn't order on season order or episode order and with series link randomly recording any episode I end up with really old episodes thrown in the mix.

Yes, at first it looks like it has accepted it but when I took it further it said it found a similar device, the Kaon NS10000.

Apologies for getting your hopes up!

But someone should be providing the codes to Logitech as you say.

I could not see sky supplying codes, they are already there. Kaon is the maker but the understanding I have is the pace codes for mysky would work as remote is the same and same frequency.

Could be wrong but eh

Oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR all.

I tried to add a device in the Harmony software. I chose Pace/set top box/MySky
It showed up as Pace Sky Italia MySky, which I accepted. Updated the remote but found that no commands worked. Deleted it.
I then chose Pace/satellite/Sky
It wanted to learn my commands, which I entered. The software said it had found a similar device, being Pace Sky+2 and you can only accept it or go back. Going back is a dead end so I accepted.
Once again, no commands worked.

Man, I have spent hours on this!

I had taught the Harmony the commands in RAW mode but that is so hit and miss. Sometimes the power command works and sometime it doesn't. Other times it will power it on and then off again straight away.
I believe with RAW commands, the longer you keep your finger on the button you are teaching the Harmony, the longer the command is stored. The same length is sent out to the Sky box. It has taken me five teaching attempts to get the On/Off RAW command to work 50% of the time.

I will await the reply from Sky and, depending on what they say, will ask them for the exact box model numbers that the Sky remote works with. That way, I may get lucky.

Again, has anyone got the new digital box from Sky and uses a Harmony remote?
If so, have you got the remote to work with the new box and what did you select from the Harmony database?

Happy New Year.
