Sharing accounts is a breach of iSKY's terms and conditions, fyi.

Roy, you really should have read the FUG before you posted this...

I have quoted the relevant piece of the FUG which applies to you:

the post contains references or instructions that allows sharing mechanisms that circumvent revenue streams of service providers;

You could try calling SKY to see if they can fix the fault. Just explain the situation and see if they can fix it so iSKY works for you again.

Ask one of the Sky CSR's for their login details? :-)

LOL at this thread ...

I just have to wonder though, are those opposed to isky account sharing also opposed to torrenting movies etc off the internet? Or is it just a one way street?

I'd put myself completely in that bucket.

It does make you wonder about what protection measures SKY has put in place with this service though.  ie can you only log in once with the same username/password combo etc?  I asked this a while ago, as surely in the student flatting setup these details would be passed around pretty quickly etc...

Let me get this straight?
You want to piggy back on someone elses sky account? Laughing
Well how about you ask your friend to pay for it again. (Or even you pay for it)

On another note I do wish isky and telecom would get together around a table and do unmetered access.
Telecom are noticable omissions on the "Which ISPs are partnered with iSKY?" page and yes, it does hurt.

have you people really read my post? and Term of use of ISKY 4. Fees and payments 4.3

You agree that we may charge all applicable Fees to your nominated credit card, including those Fees incurred by third parties that access iSKY using your SKY ID, that we may disclose your credit card details to, and obtain information from, any financial institution or credit card issuer to verify the credit card details, and that we may take steps to verify that there is sufficient credit on your credit card account to meet the fees due.

Meaning Sky does not care even if people willing to share their account. I did actually rang up Sky and ask for a solution, they said "ask for another friend who has Sky and willing to share his account", thats why i am asking here, and i am not asking it for free. it is a win win for whoever have sky, watching only on tv, and i can share some of his monthly subcribtion fee to get my access on internet. i do not found there is anything wrong on it.

really?  How much do you watch and how big is your datacap?

i have 160GB cap (as from next week, currently 100GB) and have never used more than 20GB watching iSky.  since the res is fairly low, even watching an episode of Sopranos or something uses very little data.

My cap is the same as yours, but it was quite scary, couple of rugby matches streamed through my laptop to my TV and I saw an easy 6 gig disappear. (I can't blame that on my kids either unfortunately, they were not over that weekend).
Main PC was doing nothing.
I have not really been wanting to go into what isky things cause the most usage, but I'd say the HD live sports would do it. (at a guess). Laughing

Now imagine me and the 4 kids wanting to use sky. TV programs are probably not an issue. Live/HD stuff is (And yes there is only one sky outlet here, isky for everyone else who wants to watch something different).
