Ive got Sky basic and wondering is there any reason why you cant get sport for a month and then cancel it again.
Just some sport I want to watch eg. X Games but after that wont need Sky sport.

No reason.
I get it for the international rugby then cancel it.
I was going to cancel for next month, but will watch the Olympics so am going to leave it going until end of All Blacks season.

Sure can.

we do it all the time.

I am keen on cricket so will turn Sports on when they cover cricket and then cancel it afterwards. We often switch between turning movies on and then swapping with sports or having neither of them on.

BUT ... Sky make it easy to add channels (via the TV or Internet) but make it hard to cancel as you have to ring them and sit in a phone que.

So what I do is send them emails to cancel or swap from movies to sport etc.

They have always actioned my email instruction within a day.
