We're moving things around in the lounge and putting in a new TV cabinet. The white Sky cable coming from the wall isn't going to be long enough. to reach the Sky Decoder in the new location.

I can't seem to pull more cable from the wall so wondering if you can extend the existing cable by joining a 1 metre cable on the end?
Will that affect the signal in any way?

This ought to do it, and will work with a commercial 1m coax extension cable.
