Hi just a quick question. I'm getting myskyhdi installed on Saturday and wondered about how it will connect to my setup.
I have a pioneer vsX 920 amp which I figure will have the skybox plugged into it which will process the audio and video on my TV-Panasonic pz850. 50 inch is this correct?

Thanks

Nik

Connect your myski to your amp using an hdmi cable. That's how I do it, works simply and well.

Yes this is correct.. Just plug a HDMI Cable from MySKy -> AMP and choose the correct input on the AMP

just a couple of things regarding the settings.. (These are what I use)

System Settings, Picture Settings, High Definition Settings

I have it set to 1080i all the time. It will upscale/not scale (depending on what channel you are watching) to 1080i so the TV won't take so long to swap resolutions depending on what you are changing channels on MySKY

System Settings, Audio & Language Settings
HDMI Digital Audio Output - Dolby - This will output the best Audio Format to the AMP and you will have to use the AMP's Volume Settings to change the volume of what comes from MySKY
