if your house already has a dish, you could ask a neighbour or family member who has sky to sign up for an extra multi room box for $25 per month and you pay them that, take the box and plug it into your house.

All good replies guys, well done.

Yes, to the OP, what content do you specifically want from sky?

Is this possible even if you're living on different suburbs?

I was actually lookiing at joining sky soon too - mostly for sports. But ya, their offer for 6 months free sport is not really very attractive to me. So i was about to give them a call sometime next month and see what is the best offer they can give to me to sway me to join them.

let us know if you get any good deals :)

I would have thought that's not a bad offer?

well, after the 6 months is up, the price jumps from 47 bucks to almost 75.. so i dont really see it as very attractive.. and all i do is just watch sports.. and even then only on weekends..
