This seems somewhat odd.

Only noticed it recently given several failed / part records. At around the time of Masterchef starting - 4.30pm, TV 1, TV2 and TV3 on both my sky decoders in a couple of different rooms both display atmospheric signal problems blah blah blah..

I just witnessed it and seems to last for about 15 mins.  Checked signal strengths on one decoder and Unlocked kept flashing up then 4 quality bars, then unlocked again.

Suddenly picture pops up on both tellies again.  This seems to be a definite pattern. Other time is Saturday am as well.

Sky got me to wipe a smartcard chip and reinsert the card.

After 10 minutes of re-explaining the situation to the good fellow  and asking why both decoders would do this if it wasn't a dish, lnb or splitter issue he booked me in for a visit.

Now..any techies on here be able to explain the regular timing of this or indeed if they reckon it's the dish etc at fault?

Cheers

Ged

Most likely is LNB dying, they often become sensitive to temperature variations, and will fall over at about the same time every day as the temperature drops or rises.
