Recorded Australia v NZ netball last night for my daughter, but the recording ended after 52 minutes (less than half the game) - x341 End of recorded programme.

Is this a problem with my mysky box, or was there an issue with this programme with Sky?
Should I be phoning Sky to complain?

Did you have any other recordings set up?

Sky box can only record 2 channels at a time, so if a third program recorded it would have to drop one.

Other then that if start and end of game was all on time, then I guess keep an eye on it, and if keeps happening then call sky.

Sports are a real problem. I recently recorded an American college football game and noticed that the program guide was changing the start and end time throughout the game! I was recording the game whilst watching it, and just to make sure, I recorded the next program in the guide in case the game went overtime. Most of the 4th quarter was not recorded, even though mySky was supposed to keep on recording for an hour after the game was scheduled to finish.

Not sure about netball, but US football games are notorious for going overtime. A 60-minute game can go on for 4-5 hours. You could complain to Sky, but I'm not sure it's their fault.

David.

No other recordings going on that night.
Space on the box is good - 60% free.
Game was on time, but the recording ended about an hour early.

Recorded the SA v NZ rugby last night, with no problems.
