hi recently my sky rf output which is sent via coax to another tv has stoped working im pretty sure it was at the same time as the digital switch over because it was working fine before. i also use the same coax for uhf to feed the freeview which is still working i just cant get sky mirror to work any more does anyone know what this could be?? im thinking it could be to do with the programeing of the rf modulator but not sure thought id see if anyone else has had this problem before i get a tech in.any info would be awesome cheers

Suspect you have switched the TV to use the digital tuner for Freeview, but Sky outputs an analogue RF signal.

You'll need to swap between the analogue and digital tuners on the TV to swap from Sky to Freeview each time.

yea thats right when it was working i would watch sky through an analouge channel then switch to digital for freeview but now i just get freeview and sky seems to have dissappared from the analog channel it used to be tuned to i cant work out why though??

It's nothing to do with digital switchover.

Maybe check the rf output settings on the decoder. The sky decoder I have loses its settings if it's power is interrupted. I know it shouldn't but I'm not going to call out a technician just for that.

Hi. Had a similar problem here in Nelson when the digital signal was turned on. The channel that free view was transmitted on was the same as the channel the sky rf was set to. From memory it may have been 35 but not sure about that. We had mysky with an external converter and just changed the channel on the converter and reprogrammed other tvs. If you have a standard sky decoder with rf out built in you need to change it in the settings on the decoder.

Only slight problem with your logic is that the current DVB-T transmissions were in existence many months (depends on restack date) or years before analog switchoff.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

it was just the rf channel had been changed somehow and required retuneing nothing to do with switchover!

yea it was just the rf modulator channel nothing to do with actual decoder the problem was it needed to be retuned again once the channel had been changed
