There was a rain delay but the day just started before at 11:45, were you watching before 11:45 or just recently(in the last 20 minutes)

Beware of the serious limitations of this new SkyGo. You can sign in on two devices and two devices only. I signed in on my Mac and iPad for example. If I want to watch iSky on my phone however, I have to remove one of the other devices from the list. That doesn't seem so quite bad until you see you can only make this change once every 30 (yes, count them) 30 days.

The PC you watch the SkyGo website on counts as a device so be careful, you only get one change every 30 days.

I've suggested to Sky they lock it down to one active login at any one time if needs be, but make it available to ANY device. That way viewers get a choice of where\how they watch SkyGo, and Sky don't get ripped off with people passing their credentials to all and sundry when there's a test on.

At present, I now have to wait until mid-January until I can watch anything on the SkyGo app on my phone. It's just really, really stupid.

That's Sky for ya and why they won't be around for much longer. Awful business model. Them losing the EPL is only the beginning. Super Rugby goes and they're fkced.

I think they will be around for a long time yet, simply because the Super Rugby will never go.

Also fairly annoying that the ipad version keeps asking every 20 mins or so if I'm still watching and have to click ok to keep the stream live. With cricket, esp the test form of the game you don't sit down and watch the whole thing, just keep it running in the background while doing something else (exception would be the 2005 Ashes)

I also think it should be based upon number of concurrent logins not devices.

If there are three or four people sharing a Sky Subscription (one house) how are they supposed to decide who gets access to SkyGo- I can understand that they wouldn't want other houses using the same details but surely they could limit concurrent logins.

The website  made it clear there isn't an Android app yet but since it talked about using via computer browser I assumed that firefox on an android tablet would suffice - it logged in and appeared to be getting stream but nothing displayed. I cleared the cache and retried however still didn't work ; more importantly despite only having tried it on a single device when I visited the 'Manage my devices' section of the account it had loaded the same device twice and only let me delete 1 instance so effectively limited me to 1 other device for 30days. I called sky and they sorted this saying that wouldn't work with Android at this stage.

Do you really think that Sommet Sports has more money than Sky TV?

If Super Rugby, or any content, went to another provider, and that provider would have outlaid a large sum to get it, so it would likely be chargeable, which is fine. As with EPL, some users then have two Pay TV bills. Some will save by ditching Sky, some will pay extra. There is no free lunch IMO

I find it poor that catchup TV is on the computer version but not the mobile device version. Thus, SkyGO, which works great gets limited use.

I'm usually not a fan of whinging about large providers doing what they can to make money - after all, they have invested more than anyone else in building the infrastructure and purchasing the rights to the programming...

However Sky TV P**s EVEN ME off to such a degree that I not only cancelled my sports package from them over a year ago and found alternative ways to watch F1 (Sky's coverage was laughably bad), but I also ditched their service altogether 6 months ago...

I encourage anyone that doesn't have a need for something they can only get on Sky to seek out alternative ways of feeding their TV watching habit...

So don't just whinge, whinge and do something about it.

Cheers - N

The other problem I have found is that the Samsung Smart TV we have will now not show Skygo.

This TV is only 5 months old and was fine with ISKY. It took 3 phone calls to sky to try to find what the problem was, the first 2 times they suggested deleting cookies and trying other 'computers or ipads', then promised to both ring and email me back.....no response.

Last night I finally got a woman who was a tech and she informed me that smart TVs will now not play SKYGO unless they have a version of Flash later than 11.something! (Where do you find that on a Samsung?)

She then said 'however you can hook your Ipad up to the TV and watch it that way'. Great I thought, did that and it came up with a Skygo Logo on the TV and said this device is not allowed to display Skygo footage!

I've now given up...I can only watch it on the Ipad because the TV and the Ipad are the 2 registered items on our a/c...the TV won't work but still counts as an active registration.

I don't know why they changed from ISKY, it was excellent..

I'm pretty sure you can remove the TV as a registrant to SkyGo once every 30 days.
