Looks like the days of SkyTV & Netflix coexisting nicely on the same network are over. I have Unblock-us DNS servers set in the router. SkyGO does not like the IP addresses of the Unblock-us DNS servers and stops content being shown.

On the PC I can use a DNS switcher application, to change between the ISP and Unblock-us DNS servers. No such luck on my iPad. Now I have to choose, Netflix or SkyGO. There is no quick DNS changer for iOS. (that I can find)

The SkyGO service gets a 3 out of 10 from me for being so 'prickly'

Open a ticket with Unblock-US and ask them to add support for SkyGO.

Or, if you're willing to get dirty, set your own dnsmasq server and set different forwarders for different zones.

Hi Pulinski, I had a similar problem with Playmo.TV, Netflix, and OnDemand on the iPad. I used the primary SSID on the router for OnDemand (default DNS settings on the iPad) and the secondary SSID for Netflix (with Playmo.TV DNS settings on the iPad). I do have to remember to check which network I'm connected to before using each app but it is the only way I could think of to have both apps working.

I have already done just as you suggested last night, but they were unable to make the exception.

Nice Idea. I can do this easily.

Thanks.

Yeah even though they support tvnz (ie so it should work) it doesn't for IOS as that takes a different path than the browser So while I'd taken my dnsmasq solution out, I'm going to be putting it back in it seems..
