I have the HD ticket but just noticed ESPN is not in HD while watching the tennis today.  It was last time I watched the channel.  Is this to do with Sky being on extra HD channels for Sochi and not enough satellite space?

Did you mean it was not HD as to do with logo in corner when access information screen or not high quality picture.

If the latter then it is normally to do with where they source the coverage. ESPN Australia which we get sources some coverage from other ESPN channels who in turn get it from the provider doing the filming.

The FA cup is a classic example of this and why the UK picture quality which is high quality appears to be out of focus on ESPN here. They source it from South America ESPN which doesn;t have the same high quality technology which results in the picture losing quality.
