Hi Team

Recently started experiencing issues with the second room decoder, it is the older pace sky box.  It has recently started only showing the current program and the one after it using the question mark on the remote.  If I go into the full list, everything shows as currently unavailable.  The main decoder (MYsky unit) is OK and after calling support and doing the usual unplug/remove card, wait, shake left leg and wink right eye, the issue still persists.
A replacement decoder is on its way, however, my neighbor and another couple of friends have also remarked about theirs doing it.
This decoder is off when the TV is not being used as a second sport/kids decoder and I was wondering if this could contribute although the others leave theirs on full time.

Checking to see if I missed anything about an update or if the EPG is going EOL?  Not a major as I use the Sky app, just interested to see if anyone else is experiencing it

Story was with these that issue related to watching the FTA channels (the boxes may point to Freeview transponders that don't carry the EPG) so that EPG was never updated. Turning it off would have the same affect.




Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

I have the same issue with my multiroom decoder (Silver Pace box).
Often the EPG will close before any info is displayed. We leave this decoder on pretty much 24/7 and watch mainly Sky Channels on this box.

Safe to assume the replacement box will have the same error then, anything I can do from my end to correct.  The FTA channels do get used a bit and mainly sport or discovery. would be a 70/30 split though roughly.

as stated previously you cant be on a fta channel, the epg does a main download at 12am and 12pm and will only download all info if its on a sky channel. try leaving it on a sky channel and it should slowly start filling in the blanks.

Gave it a run, same issue with sky channels.

yes I have the same issue, multiroom Pace silver decoder is extremely slow with the EPG, in fact you have to press the left and right arrows to get something up before the prog description times out and dissapears, I never have it on FV channels it is more often than not on Jones only

This has been happening for quite some time I am interested to see it is not an isolated issue.

OK to update, and answer a couple of the above.

Have received replacement Monday.  Have left decoder powered on and watched both sport and discovery and kids.  Have not watched FTA as a test point.
Decoder still will not show more than current chanel and one programe ahead.  Full EPG still shows not currently available.

Is there something going on that we are not being told about? Do I need to change from the Pace?

Any ideas, when I rang, customer support said to power off (AGAIN......) and failing that will send another out with tech.  Which to me based on the test, seems unlikely to rectify the issue
