Netflix is far better, even if it cost more than lightbox (as it seems to be if you are a spark customer) I'd still use it over lightbox.

The main advantage I see with netflix at the moment is the sheer number of devices it's on.  THese local services are only on a couple of tvs and ipad (and it'f you're luck some are on android).

And when you say "Android", what you mean is "artificially locked to Samsung".

Netflix has more content and more supported devices, but I'm supporting lightbox as at least they are attempting a decent service in NZ which no one else has manged yet (plus the wife is addicted to Outlander)

...and this is the problem with using Global Mode.

Slingshot won't provide you with support for their product (which I think is disgusting). Unblock-us has good support, Slingshot has basically nothing.

Netflix won't provide you with support (of course, since you are accessing their services illegitimately)

So it's totally up to you to work out how things work.

Netflix has:
More content (loads and loads of really good older stuff, not much current.)
Bigger device range (much bigger - basically anything)
Absolutely no support if you can't get it to work

Lightbox has:
Less content (although proportionally there seems to be a lot less 'filler' and more 'good' stuff)
Fewer devices (for now)
Actual support, including presence on geekzone.

I can't speak for the XBox directly, but for my PS3 all I had to do was create a US PSN account and login with that to install the Netflix app. Perhaps try doing something similar on your XBox?

Sir! You are a scholar and a gentleman!
Thanks

While the phrase is thought to have been around for centuries, the first person that it can be attributed to is Scottish writer Robert Burns. Burns is said to have influenced many prominent writers, including J.D. Salinger, who used the line in his famed novel, "Catcher in the Rye."

The phrase originated in 1700s England, but it is not clear from whom. During the Renaissance, being a true gentleman was considered an art form, and being a scholar was a sign of nobleness. The phrase "You're a gentleman and a scholar" is not only a great compliment, but also a sign of respect.

If you ever decide to use something other than Slingshot, Unblock-US has just added 6 more regions to its service for Netflix -
Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Different countries have different movies, and a lot are in English (i.e. not translated to another language)  Unblock-US now supports 19 Netflix regions
