Unlike many other people who have posted Re: Ethernet and MySky boxes, I have a Ethernet switch in the back of my home theatre gear, and I can easily run a cable to my MySky+ box.

I know that new functionality is coming shortly, but is there any advantage in running a cable now?

Probably - unless it is going to be much easier now than later just wait and see.

At the same time as enabling Ethernet, didn't they update the EPG ? I don't appear to have gotten notified or received the update.

Plugged it in anyway. Now I am ready for anything that comes along.

Yeah I plugged mine in as well, just for fun.
