Lightbox has stopped working on PS/3 Worked fine for last week. Still working fine on my PC

Sony PlayStation network is under a DDoS. Perhaps the PS3 needs something from the network and everything in the device stops if not there?

Are you able to do anything else on it?

Also, on top of the questions freitasm asked, let us know what you mean by 'stopped working'. What screen do you get to (if any)? etc.

Its working again now. Te problem was that on selecting the Lightbox icon it just seemed to hang. I waited for several minutes but just a black screen with the cursor icon just going round and round. Went and watched via PC and returned a few minuyes ago and its working now. Still seems a bit sluggish after selecting icon and before the Lightbox screen comes up but I can live with that.
