I am trying to find a good option for getting streaming services, particularly lightbox, the last 10 feet to my TV. I have an XBOX 360 which means no lightbox app. I can get it on my old galaxy tab 2 now and it works great there, but I can't/don't want to try and connect it to my TV as it will probably look terrible and adapters are hard to find. I don't want to buy a laptop or mini PC as they are too expensive even if they are the best way to go.
Does something like the Samsung BDH6500 work with lightbox? The info seems to say anything that can access the Samsung smart hub will have the lightbox app, but lightbox only list Samsung smart TV's as having the app. Then again, they don't list the galaxy tab 2 10" as having the lightbox app, but it installed there from the play store and works perfectly. Having the ability to access things like netflix etc when it arrives here would be good too as well as youtube etc.

To answer my own question, yes, yes they do. Very nicely.
A great price at Harvey Norman and some searching online showed that it may be worthwhile as it could be made to work through unotelly even if it didn't work with lightbox. Works beautifully though and now I have a simple smart device to stream things to the TV.
