Finally looks like SkyTV may be allowing you to buy options for Rugby via internet.. without a full subscription
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11394755

Think I may now be able to cancel my Sky.... but I wonder how much the Fan Pass will be... I assume it won't  be cheap

$24 a week for super rugby... that seems a bit steep when I just want a single game
I can actually go to a chiefs game for ~ $25 http://www.chiefs.co.nz/ticket-and-stadium-info/waikato-stadium-map/

They may need to work on that pricing.....

$299 for the NRL season including Origin, so works out to around $10 a week for the 6 months or so....

They need to put up a demo stream for testing

What is the video quality like? Can I watch in HD (High Definition)?

FAN PASS uses technology that adjusts to the best available download speed for your connection from 400kbps all the way up to HD quality at 4500kbps on some PCs/Macs and tablets. On PC/Mac you can manually select the speed to best suit your connection or manage your data usage. Alternatively you can select ‘Best Available’ and we'll keep checking your connection and adjust to your speed so it's always delivering the optimal viewing experience.

HD quality (720p) is available on PC/Mac and tablet where the stream is 5mbps and above. To check out our video quality, go to our website and try the available highlights. You just need to register first but don't have to purchase anything.

that is so far overpriced it's not funny. NRL digital pass is AUS $89 a season for the same thing.

I can't get to the page at work (we are on an AU network, so it is geoblocked).

Does it have prices for just ABs games? That's all I really want. $299 for a season of NRL - too much.

So, based on my PLP experience, a bit average?

Those prices are ridiculous! $299 for Super Rugby? Considering I paid $149 for the EPL and $100 for NFL Game Pass I think they're having a laugh.

Can't believe this has launched before they got neon going. No all blacks, only super rugby, nrl and f1. Their pricing is a joke considering other sports prices like epl, nhl, nfl and they have more content too.

Ouch. No ABs. $299 for Super Rugby, plus $299 for NRL. Obviously they don't want people actually using this service.

Just using up Online rights so that no-one else gets them maybe?

Pricing is a bit too steep for my liking.  Just paid $149 for the golf package which was bad enough.  I think Sky at home might be gone after the RWC :-)

I'd be keen to see the F1 races (only sport I care for and not that easy to find "out there")
$25 a race though ..
