I have never been able to watch an entire show on my Galaxy Tab S 10" without it crashing with the message Lightbox has stopped working. So frustrating and given they only have a handful of supported devices I would have thought it would be vital that these worked to ensure they gain market share.
I wanted to support a local initiative but with the lack of supported devices and patchy service it makes it hard to do so.

This is another reason that this is the last Samsung device I will ever own. I don't understand why operations like Lightbox tie themselves to Samsung it is damaging their brand.

Hi KiwiNZ,

I'd like to chase up - can you provide some additional details (just drop me a PM):

  • Android version
  • Version of the Lightbox app
  • Your Lightbox login
  • Any other details on your device - is it rooted, have you installed alternative software/setup etc.
Are you using a DNS spoof to access Netflix - and if so, is that active when using Lightbox? Do you have any issues if using a computer to watch?

I suspect there's some local issue not being handled well by our app, since we did do fairly extensive testing on Samsung models.
