So only had Sky TV for a month or so and not really used Sky Go much

Tried to log onto Sky Go today to watch the cricket at work and said id reached my max devices. I can understand you can only have 3 devices, but only being able to remove one device every 30 days what a load of crap.

Ive just changed phones, so now its locked to a phone I dont even have. Even in browser I cant watch at work as I longed into a browser at home.

Long story short I can now only watch Sky on my iPad. After using other streaming services and devices this seems crazy to me. Its fine if you dont change devices often but when you 3-4 portable devices and different PC's it sucks.

Anyway rant over :-)

Have you tried calling them to see if they can help you get around that restriction?

I have found the service to be as issue-laden as a political campaign, but they are good on the helpdesk.

My iMac does regular updates automatically and as a result, my Sky Go "device detection doodaah button" tells them that I am trying to use a different device (despite the fact that it's the same device and the same browser).

I have given up being angry or sad and simply call them now and tell them what's going on. They reset the devices and away we go again for a few weeks.

Annoying? yes.
Great streaming service? no.
Excellent customer service? so far - yes.

It's a free add-on and not the reason I have Sky, so I am fairly relaxed about it.

Yeah, give them a call or place some Feedback via the app. In my experience they'll assist and reset a device for you pretty easily.

Whether you'll actually be able to watch anything on that device is another question entirely cool
