Hello,

Has anyone been able to get SkyGo to go fullscreen? I only have a lights out button, there is no way from what I can see to get it fullscreen on my laptop running Win8.1 using Google Chrome, tried IE as well, no difference.

Thanks

When I hover mouse over the player, I get the full screen symbol in bottom right of that window.

Heh I am surprised it works long enough to need fullscreen mode. I've never had it working especially during sporting events.

Just tried it and from a 100Mbit connection it's in low def and stutters every 10 seconds or so for a second while it buffers.

Unsure how this could be deemed an acceptable level of service.

Sorry to Hijack the thread.

I usually let it play for a a while without full screen, because most of the time when I go full screen immediately, the image freezes but the sound continues playing.

I've only used SkyGo, out the back of my property on an extender, and that was on a 14Mbit ADSL, it worked fine for me. 3 seconds of grainy then good.
On a previous thread there were compalints about grainy image, but you need to wait till it clicks to the standard pretty good image. This is on an iPad

I've never played streamed anything on a laptop that was great, they always falter a tad and I can't keep myself from looking for the faults

Do you often/always have low def and stutters?

I tried for at least 5 minutes, are you suggesting more than that ?

No, 5 seconds max. Ive always seen it like that, and have watcjhed quite a bit of tennis out back on a sunny day, the experience was pretty good, smooth. image more than ok, and over the times I have done this, consistent. Not tried a laptop as I mention above, its never as good, the issue being smoothness, or lack of.

It really depends when you use SkyGo. For example, during an All Blacks game

I just tried it. Using a ADSL connection. No stuttering or buffering after commencing play. Watched Sport 1 channel for about 3 minutes.

I'm using Win 8.1 and IE11.

Yep, I can see that, I tend to watch the Grand Slam tennis. Admittedly I watched a couple of hours of CWC, Black Caps important end of series game, and that was fine but it did go through a period of pausing video, while audio played, about three times, restart of app fixed that.

If you are using smartDNS like unotelly or unblock-us then you will need to setup to stream SKY NZ..

I had similar problem, it went away after I updated my Flash Plugin to the latest version.
However saying that - On a different PC, IE worked and Chrome and Firefox never worked irrespective of what versions and how latest I go on all plugins.

It is very random, but consistently works on IE with latest flash and shockwave installed.

Hope this helps.

And that will effectively stream SkyGo from NZ to US to you in NZ?
