I have a Samsung smart tv which is connected via wireless router. To view a 1 hour lightbox program it uses about 3.5 gig.I have another tv conected to my laptop via HDMI, to watch a 1 hour program on Netflix it uses about 800 mb.Why such a big difference in data use?

I'm assuming Lightbox is in HD and Netflix is in SD????? Netflix uses approx 700mb per hour on it's basic SD plan & 3gb per hour on it's HD plan. I'd assume Lightbox uses similar amounts of data.
