Hi

As per title has anyone any information on when Sony Smart TVs may be supported?

Cheers

RE Sony Smart TV support - we have nothing to announce at this stage. We don't currently support the Android TV OS either.

That said, we're constantly reviewing demand for devices and we will update via this thread when we have something to share.

Have just ordered a Sony TV with Android TV on it so +1 for making Lightbox available on Android TV please. Until then I'll view via browser on HTPC, but obviously not the most elegant way to do it.

The app "works" on Android TV when sideloaded, but the interface is painful and you pretty much need a mouse to select things.

Correct - it will work (if you're very patient...) but ideally you would build an Android TV app with an interface designed for that particular platform.

ideally you would make the same app work with a remote input, so other android devices (those STBs from china etc) which have remotes but running android say 4.4 could also work nicely with a remote.
